This video by Jim Sterling makes a very excellent point about obsession with detail/realism in games sometimes occurring to the detriment of actually improving the game and honestly it's something that's definitely bugged me about the way certain things work in SC right now (has anyone else idk, tried to buy anything in shops right now lmao).

I don't think CIG is the worst offender in this but I think the question of "does this actually add to the experience or are we just jerking ourselves off?" before adding some detail or feature to add "realism" is something they could stand to ask themselves more often.

My immersion is forever shattered by space toilets that don't cause course corrections.

My most memorable experience with toilets in this game is getting stuck in the bathroom of the Mustang Beta
